Jhunjhuna, located in the Shekhawati region of Rajasthan’ is a historic city and district administrative headquarter renowned for its intricately painted havelis, rich heritage and as a major source of soldiers for the Indian Armed Forces. Founded by choudhary Jujhar Singh Nehra, it serves as a cultural and commercial hub in northern Rajasthan.
Architecture and Tourism : Often called an open air art gallery, the town features historic, fresco cover buildings. Key attractions include 18th century Khatri Mahal( Wind place) the 400 years Shree Khemi Sati Temple and the mausoleum of Qamar Aldin Shah.
